Product History. The first COVOX analyser was commissioned in the United Kingdom in 1985 by the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary. Their brief: ‘provide a system that will enable us to measure accurately and scientifically, cardiovascular fitness in Police Officers’. Further commissions followed; in the early days mainly from the educational sector. The analyser has evolved into a ruggedised system, ideal for educational use and the demanding role required by the fitness professional and corporate user.
